The Sindang Gawe Journal is a community service journal that focuses on knowledge-based empowerment, managed by the Public Administration Department of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Sriwijaya University. The name "Sindang Gawe" is derived from the local dialect of South Sumatra, meaning "singgah untuk bekerja", which reflects the spirit of lecturers, academics, and individuals in their commitment to community service. This meaning reflects the tangible activities of a lecturers, academics, and individuals who stops by a region, not only physically but also intellectually, to work alongside the community through knowledge-based empowerment activitiesThis journal serves as a platform for disseminating collaborative and contextually relevant outcomes of community engagement, with an emphasis on community capacity building, governance, MSME development, and knowledge enhancement, enabling communities to address challenges in a contextual and sustainable manner.
